Venturing into Real Estate was a big step for me. The year 2011 presented huge changes in my life that led to my decision to drastically adjust my career path. After 38 years in education (as a teacher and later as an adult trainer and learning programme designer) I am thoroughly engrossed in my new field and the challenges it presents. Having grown up on the Bluff and enjoying most of my teaching profession in Bluff schools it is good to be back on home turf! I have a great belief in the Bluff as a suburb in which children can be raised in a healthy, community-based environment. My strongest satisfaction comes from dealing with my clients with the utmost integrity. I am a firm believer in self-improvement and look forward to further training that will allow me to offer my clients supreme service. It is important to me that clients and colleagues are treated with paramount respect to ensure that long standing relationships are formed and maintained. I am motivated by achievement and through this, combined with a professional energetic approach, I intend to make sure my clients continue to do business with me. I look forward to working with you!

The foundation of my real estate career has been based on education and training. In the early eighties I was the only agent in the area who had completed a correspondence course which gave me the advantage. I continued through to the late nineties with writing the Estate Agents Board Exam. At the same time I did a one years marketing course with Cherie Eilertson and then obtained my CRS (SA) under US insructors Del Baine and Ed Hatch. Through all of these courses and qualifications I have strived to increase my knowledge of the real estate industry in order to provide my clients with the best possible service and results there are to offer. When joining Harcourts I was offered the opportunity of completing the Further Education and Training Certificate which carries a NQF Level 4 Real Estate qualification. This has allowed me to increase my qualifications and to stay up to date with the ever changing real estate business. Harcourts has brought a level of professionalism to the industry which I am happy to pass on with friendly, informed advice. I therefore have the skill and determination to offer the absolute best in real estate service. What does it mean for you? It means you can sit back, relax and enjoy the view.

I started my Real Estate career in October 2004. I have obtained several certificates and awards. I have also done the necessary courses which was required of me to be a successful agent and also to gain the knowledge in the Real Estate Industry. In 2009 I obtained my NQ4 Level 4 Certificate. In order to be successful one has to have the knowledge. I thoroughly enjoy my career I love working with people, it gives me great pleasure in satisfying my buyers and sellers. I believe in honesty and integrity and make these my two biggest characteristics when I deal with clients.

Tinkie Ratcliffe

I started in real estate on the Bluff in 2003. I then joined Homenet Abbott in 2004,. We are now Harcourts Brighton Beach. I enjoy interacting with people of different cultures, and thrive on working to build strong relationships with my clients. During my time with Homenet I have achieved the Homenet Roll of Honour through participating in all Jill Corfields programs which I successfully passed. I also passed my E.A.A.B.exam in 2007 with Homenet. I have had a years break from the business due to Cancer, which I have overcome. I didn’t think I would make it back into the profession as I had lost contact with everybody And lost self confidence in myself. I woke up one day and went back to Harcourts, I was amazed at the speed I picked up in getting back on track, especially with my colleagues, The help and inspiration I received from them made it a sailing trip for me. I have since qualified for my N.Q.F.4 . I am proud to say this is the best decision I could have made, and as it goes I am looking forward to furthering my career with Harcourts.
